How does it work?
Service providers simply sign a rolling monthly contract with CommVault and the authorised SPLA agent and can start using the software. Automated monthly reports provide you with the information you need to give to your SPLA agent so they can bill you for what you’ve used that month. Easy!
Is it really THAT simple?
Yes! On top of the contract there’s a small form to complete to set you up on our partner portal and an NDA to sign, but that’s it.
What about updates, support and training?
The monthly subscription includes maintenance (updates) but to qualify for free support calls after the initial quarter you need to have two people certified to Engineer level. We expect Service Provider partners to handle first line calls from their customers before calling us. Did we mention that the bulk of the training is free?
